Ministerial Visit Hon. Tim Nicholls MP

Last week I was delighted to work with my friends at the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct in covering the visit from Queensland Minister for Health, the Hon Tim Nicholls MP.

From world-first spinal injury research led by Professor James St John, supported by the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation, to the cutting-edge Project BioSpine project with Assoc Professor Claudio Pizzolato, the visit showcased how collaboration between Griffith University, Gold Coast Health, and industry partners is translating research into real-world impact.

The Minister also toured NeuTex Group, our advanced surgical training and robotics hub, where Dr Laetitia de Villiersdemonstrated world-leading neuro-interventional training and innovation.
