Honestly, how often do you get the chance to host a stakeholders function on the airport apron? Well this was the case for the team of staff and stakeholders from Queensland Airports Limited as they did exactly this at Longreach Airport in outback Queensland. Yes it was hot, but as the sun went down the evening cooled into a beautiful night under the stars. Canapes, drinks, sunset, stars. I doesn’t get a whole lot better than that. Everyone had a brilliant time, and the unique location only added to the atmosphere. Plus we had a cracking sunset.

I have to say the team from Longreach Airport were wonderful. I can’t thank them enough for their warm hospitality. In fact everyone I met in Longreach was so welcoming. From the accommodation, to the restaurants, to the cafes – this country hospitality is a real thing people. During my time in Longreach I also shot a lot of content for the Longreach Airport. This include airport imagery, staff profiles, and lifestyle photography of passengers enjoying the airport from arrival to check-in to departure. Great fun to shoot with a great bunch of locals.
